Event Date & Route
Visitors can expect a lively day of automotive displays, live music, and family-friendly activities centered along Woodward Avenue. The cruise showcases thousands of vehicles—from vintage classics to modern muscle—with opportunities to chat with owners and snap photos. Neighborhood partner events add food trucks, vendor booths, and spontaneous performances throughout the corridor. Arriving early helps secure good viewing spots.
For best viewing, position yourself around major intersections where spectators congregate, such as Royal Oak and Birmingham entrances, and follow posted spectator zones. Public parking is available in designated lots near the corridor, with shuttle options in some towns. Many businesses host outdoor patios and shaded seating to enjoy the spectacle with family. Remember to bring breathable clothes and water.
